Dry hair is the bane of the existence of many women. While a lot of women in the world battle hair that is oily, there are some that have the opposite problem. There are several causes for this condition. One reason is because of genetics, specifically one’s ethnicity. In short, some women from certain ethic groups are naturally predisposed to this condition. Women in these ethnic groups find that their scalp naturally doesn’t produce very much oil. If the scalp doesn’t get lubrication, then the shaft will be dry. Another reason why women experience this condition is due to climate. People who live in arid climates or in frigid cold climates find that they will experience dryness on their head. A third reason why people experience this condition, is due to the lack of nutrition and internal lubrication. People overlook that simply drinking water will do a lot to supply lubrication all over the body. Certain vitamins help to stimulate healthy scalp growth and lubrication.
If you are a person who is suffering from dry hair, then there are things that you can do. You can research the types of nutrients that you need to take in order to help your scalp to become healthy. You can certainly drink more water. While you are waiting for results to show from internal changes that you’ll make, you can use a variety of products on your hair to give it moisture, and sheen.
You can use products that you buy from the grocery store, and that you might already have in your home. The use of mayonnaise is an old fashioned trick that actually works. This is because mayonnaise is made with egg yolks and oil. Both of the ingredients are useful to give hair sheen and shine. Egg yolks in particular have protein, which is what your scalp and shafts need. If you don’t have mayonnaise, or if you don’t want to buy it, you could always apply egg yolk, or you could apply a rich oil such as olive oil. Both of these products have been used for years to treat dryness.
Speaking of oil, another popular treatment is the use of hot oil treatments. These can be purchased at beauty supply stores, and in the beauty department at any home retailer. A really great source of moisture and oil comes from the avocado. It’s very easy to buy an avocado at the store, mash it in a bowl, and apply it to the strands. It’s full of moisture, and natural oils that will leave the hair soft and shiny.
The key to overcoming dry hair is patience and care. You have to keep up with treatments for your strands. You also need to be sure to cut off any dry and damaged ends. Leaving these on will only cause fray and brittle ends. Your strands will look so much healthier and soft when you clip your dry ends, in addition to any treatments that you apply. Apply rewrite
